The system that I use, I would one hundred percent recommend for any drummer
that wants to get their sound reinforced on stage.
You sort of have to know a little bit about what you're doing with the mixer element and the sound element
so a little bit of study and a little bit of experimentation is there.
But the beauty about the speaker system is that, again, there's not a lot of manipulation that has to happen
for it to be able to work. So I think anybody, even the weekend warriors and club-date guys
if they need a little bit of enhancement on stage, I mean I most certainly used to do it,
for club gigs, you know? At that point in time it was just one speaker and my mixer,
but boy did it make a difference on stage, to have that body of the kit coming from an amplified situation
when you're in an amplified situation. Wouldn't advise it for an acoustic bebop gig,
but if you're playing pop stuff and funk stuff and you need that low end enhancement, it's great.
