So from kneeling spine twist to lazy lizard big hip stretch. In this pose I'm trying to
keep my pelvis level and as I release and swing my trunk around I'm still keeping my
pelvis level. So it is not a twist of the pelvis but a movement of the spine that takes
me into this pose. I have my left shoulder inside of my left leg so foot, hand, hand,
that's the order foot, hand, hand but some poses you are often tempted to lean way out
to the side and while it feels good and it is worth doing I also encourage my students
to stay very close in line so we still have left leg, right leg and the spine in between,
balancing with my hands off the floor here and continue to balance and then I can drop
the head down, let the neck go and it has been a while since we have done some good
neck traction, a few poses since we really let the head go so it is a good time to do
that and then you can rock which I like to do rocking back and forth and reaching down.
Head comes close to the foot and head can come on the other side of the foot if you
are feeling flexy.
