Let's make lentil tampoule!
An excellent variation of the original tampoule salad, which can be served either as a salad or as a main dish.
Boil the lentilsĀ in plenty of water and some salt for approximately 30-35 minutes.
They should be soft, but not to a pulp.
Lentils are considered to be one of the tastiest and most nutritious Greek legumes.
Drain the lentils and rinse with plenty of cold water.
Set the lentils aside to drain well.
Prepare the dressing. Add the olive oil in a jar with a lid and grate a lemon.
Squeeze the lemon and pour its juice in a jar.
Add the lemon zest, the salt and pepper and the oregano.
Seal the jar and shake well until all the ingredients are beautifully combined.
Prepare the salad. Wash the cherry tomatoes and cut into 4 pieces.
Drain the garlic and grate it.
Rinse the parsley, and then chop it finely.
Finally add the dressing, mix well but gently.
Refrigerate the salad for approximately 1 hour until all its flavours and aromas are combined.
The salad is served cold.
