Welcome Back to Keep Calm and Bake
I'm Caroline I do a cooking show on You Tube, on another channel. This weeks recipe is going
to be how to make Snicker doodles.
Snicker doodles are very easy to make. And we have the full recipe in the description
box for you, so you don't have to write down all of the details. And they also have a very
cool name.
Add your softened butter. Next add the sugar. Now add your eggs. Mix these all together
until they are just blended. Now for the dry ingredients, you are going to sift in the
flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and a little pinch of salt. Bring this all together,
mix everything together. Until it forms a bit of a sloppy kind of dough. Make sure your
dough should look a bit like this, kind of wet a bit sloppy, thats fine. Its going to
go into the fridge for 15 minutes. I've got my sugar in a bowl. I'm going to add the cinnamon
now, its quite a lot. Mix those all together, mix those two in. And this is what makes it
so snicker doodley. All we have to do now is get your chilled dough mixture, grab yourself
about a tablespoons worth is a good amount actually. A little ball like that and what
you're going to do, a little dollop, roll it into a kind of a ball shape.Put it in the
sugar roll it round. And now it just goes onto your tray like so. Keep going until you've
used up all of the mixture. If you like baking and you like what you are seeing then don't
forget to hit subscribe. Then all of these recipes get sent straight to your inbox. And
if you like cooking in general, I do a You Tube cooking show on my own channel so you
can click on over there and subscribe and get tons more recipes. We'll keep you busy.
Look at all these cookies this makes quite a few. Now all you have to do is bake them,
so pop them in your oven for 10 minutes. They are going to spread out a little bit and they
will get nice and golden on top. Once they are cooked leave them on a wire rack to cool
down and then they will be ready to enjoy. If you can wait that long. See you again next
time, and happy snicker doodling.
