Gloria Meyer is an x-ray supervisor at Via Christi Clinic. She's a fifty-year employee
who has seen a lot of changes to the x-ray business over the years. From hand processing
wet film to going completely digital and paperless, Gloria has seen it all.
I think the thing that I enjoyed about it is the variety of things to do and people
you meet all the time. It never gets boring to me.
Gloria is always working with fellow employees. She loves to share and help out being a difference
maker wherever she can.
She does a wonderful job of being a working supervisor. She knows every inch of this building
and every inch of the building that was down at Rutan where the clinic originally started
at.
Gloria remembers the move from the old clinic building to their current location on Murdock.
Every year zipped by and I think one of the milestones was when we moved from the old
Wichita Clinic to this building at Murdock. That was quite a chore and when we finished
everybody said if we move again, we're quitting!
One of her key beliefs is you should never stop learning. She says learning is a lifelong
quest and helps keep her feeling young.
It also should be that way in your personal life I feel to keep mentally active, learning
new things. I just think it makes things, life easier, the more you know.
Gloria enjoys her job so much, she says the fifty years have gone by quickly and she says
she's glad she spent them at the clinic.
Gloria truly is a special person that loves her job, loves who she works with, loves caring
for people.
