recently the United Nations released a report detailing the terrible torture
that happens in from the prison camps in North Korea
and the interview a number of people including Kim Kwan bill he is a person
who actually spent six years in one of those prison camps
now Amnesty International in the UK did interview him and we have a video where
he details what he went through
I'll and then after that we're gonna show you some photos are some pictures
that he drew
that shows you the type of torture that he went through i won note that the next
video was really graphic
very hard to listen to but it is important to watch just so you know how
horrible the conditions are in north korea
breeder on what will happen to them did our
columns I resorted to this item she's in the room
you double lock wheel
cloak she couldn't stop it is now within
with lol digital
some nor into a longer did you know that they will who put a whole one year lease
the new
I would make it so much to cause havoc unusual ponnuru
could meet with colonial it on each religion a mere
to me he'll more the pic you got to wonder where bomber pick you up to one
year
he is hermit okamoto jean-louis
popular content I can tell you
for people who the need see more detail
appears in all the atrocities over the North Korean regime
are on parallel and you know look right I know what's happening in Syria
with the torture in the murders there is a unbelievable
by there in the middle of the Civil War push our site as a
terrible dictator that said these guys in north korea been doing it for
decades on end there is no some workers they
crush every piece of opposition that they have they treat their own people
like
animals users battered concentration camps as we've seen
you know period because this it's not like they're not
they're just called imprisoning or torturing people
they're also kill him made and so after the torture they kill them
political prisoners you know even the slightest crimes are non crimes get put
in the skit castration camps there's hundreds of thousand people in them
it's just its growth task so
I when the united nations was doing this investigation this report on what what's
happening in north korea
they spoke to him and they had him draw some pictures of what he saw
in those prison camps we want to share some those photos with you guys
in one of the illustrations are mister can explain that he had to crawl on his
hands and knees
into the cell he shared with forty other prisoners because the entrance door was
only about
80 centimeters high the guards told them that
when you get to this prison and you're not human you're just animals
and as soon as you get to this prison you have to crawl just like animals
payout it n is so many the pictures
people are obviously malnourished cuz mean the whole country's
malnourished little on people macam and then there's the hangings
yes I'm so in the next graphic
shows that the state has used food as a means of control over the population
the state is also use the Liberty starvation as a means of controlling
punishment
%uh if in detention center facilities this has resulted in the deaths of many
people in the prisons many prisoners political an ordinary
then the next one you kinda see just how malnourished they are they're eating
rats and snakes in whatever they can get their hands on because I how
malnourished they are
the next lab illustration you see that the prisoners were brought to the prison
camps in train wagons originally meant to carry animals
spank or rhino so many ways and there
they just get worse decisions actions and omissions by the state and its
leadership cause the death about Lee's hundreds of thousands of people and
inflicted permanent physical and psychological injuries on those who
survived
you see people dying around you so in this picture he talks about how
they were forced to pose in certain positions for a very very long period of
time
and they couldn't do it they couldn't hold it and if they couldn't hold it you
know they would obviously get in trouble for it and they were just
forced to do this again and again it'll drive you crazy yeah
other than being physically impossible of course and then
this next one is really difficult to think about be
will tie them up like that for a very long period of time your hands are bound
your hands are bound back and if they tie you like this your chest comes
forward
and in this position you were tortured they call this the pigeon torture
so who here like I've said before if we ever get inside these camps in
in free the people inside you know the whole world will say if I can't believe
it was happening and who knew it was this bad
we know it right now we know it for a fact
we just want to turn our eyes were made because its
we think it's too hard to solve there's nothing we can do we don't wanna
spend the time the energy the resources I
and in the case in this case unfortunately for those
North Koreans they have no oil under their ground so the US
is not coming we're not going to become the help and my
as I've said before doesn't mean the right answers war
for invasion or liberation through violence itself
okay but should there be every pressure in the world economically
pitch I know who is enabling this and in north korea itself
absolutely you should do whatever it takes
and by the way you know story we show you how the
North Korean leadership is importing over six hundred million dollars
in luxury goods cognac caviar mercedes-benz et cetera
as they do this to their own people no one should ever sell those goods
to the north korea leadership from I mean that's so obvious
and sat out bare bare minimum ok Kim Jong Hoon
was told by his father and his grandfather their chosen by God in their
special people and
and that the there were they have everything and everybody else is an
animal
that they have ever read in the world debuts
you look at its
we are here really those guys it you know and again I don't mean icily
through war or anything like that
but there has to be some action taken it as much
economic action as you could possibly bring to bear because
you can say never again and full well know that this is happening right now
you just cant say never again does this happen again
