Hello and welcome to my Unboxing and Review of the Urbanears Zinken Black
Let's have a look at the Packaging
It looks quite good and feels verry well buildt
On the backside we can find some informations about the Headphones
Let's just open it up and see what we've got
Here we have the Headphones themselve
and a little hint to unpack the box a bit more :D.
in the box we have some stuff including the Waranty card and a brochure from Urbanears
back to the Headphones ... My first Impression of them is verry good they are quite heavy and apear quality to me
on the bottomside of the Headphones we have the two Inputs that we will talk about later
let me just unpack this little box right here
here we have the cable for the Headphones and i will quickly unpack this too
and here we have the relatively new "turn cable" with two Inputs/Outputs
one 3.5 millimeter Jack and a 6.3 millimeter Jack
the 3.5 millimeter Jack is a 4-conductor piece to use it as a Headset
and here we got the Microphone with a button to controll a Smartphone or mp3 player for example
lets quickly unpack the little white thing here. this is an adaptor from the 4-conductor to a 3-conductor Jack
because some older Phones won't work properly with the 4-conductor piece.
this also comes in handy when you have it pluged in your phone and put in in your pocket
let's just put this aside
back to the turn-cable so this has two functions
you can use it either for your Phone or any other device with a 3.5 mm input
but these Headphones where also designed with the DJ in mind
so you can also plug the 3.5 mm in the Headphones and use the 6.3 mm Jack for your Mixing console or stuff like that
will just give them a short test run and also compare them with other Headphones i'll be right back ;)
the reason I bought these Headphones I because my older AKG 518 LE unfortunately broke. These are a bit cheaper but still great value.
I also got the Sennheiser HD-25 here. These are quite poplar and are used by all kinds of DJ's and Audiophiles around the World.
they have a very linear and true Sound and deliver Music like it's meant to sound in my opinion. :)
though I have to say I liked the Zinken verry much till now
they are not as clear as the HD-25 in the top ans mids but still quite good
the Lows are nice but not as punchy as the bass in the AKG's
the Isolation on them is awesome and I would even say better than the HD-25
so for the Bassheads out there these will still do the Job ;)
I bought them for 99 Euros at Amazon
I'd say that this is a Great Value for the Money
and I believe they will stay with me the next few Years or so :)
and I am shure they are better than Beats by Dr. Dre so that I can still throw them around and they will be fine :P
I really recommend you to buy these because they look and sound really good for what you pay.
from now on it's mainly bla bla bla :D
you can find the specs of the Headphones either on the Urbanears Website or Amazon
I can tell you that you can use these as DJ Headphones Steve Angelo, Diplo, Sven Väth and some more already use them for Djing
So thanks for Watching and have a Nice day :)
