Hello natural ladies and gents today Im doing a twist and go. Its just twists in the front
and a wash n go in the back. So Im just parting my hair, for my twists. Im parting from ear
to ear, and down in the middle. So now Im just twisting the extra hair out of the way.
Im going to start two strand flat twisting my hair on the left side, Ill be using my
crystal clear Eco Styler gel to set my twists and Ill be using rubber band s to hold them
in place. So watch how I do my twists... ( Music)
Okay so now that my twists are done, I can began to do my wash n go in the back, so Im
just parting my hair in small sections. Spraying it with a mixture of water leave in conditioner
and oils. Im spraying it very generously, I want my hair basically soaking wet with
water. Im taking a goof amount of gel and smoothing it from my roots to my ends. I just
smooth it onto my hair, I dont shingle, rake or comb it. Im just using tension to smooth
the gel down my hair shaft. This seems to be a btter method for my hair. I repeat this
process over the entire back section of my head. After I was done applying the gel to
my hair, I now put some water in my hands and a little more gel and smooth that mixture
all over my hair, running my hair between the palms of my head. This is making sure
that my hair is well coated with the gel and remains wet as I manipulate it. This is apart
of the cute kinks method that helps to clump type four hair together, so that it will keep
texture while setting with a wash n go. So while my hair is still damp, Im trying to
place it where I want it to make sure its smooth and my ends are the way I want them,
so once its set there will me minimal fizz. Im all done with my style. The next part is
just allowing it to dry, I did a little bit of diffusing and a little bit of air drying.
And probably after 12 hours my hair was dry. For some reason its hard for my hair to get
soft and touchable again after setting a wash n go. Ive tried shea butter, it creates a
residue that eventually flakes, and leaves white stuff all over my hair. So Ive been
trying to find what I could use, and I discovered that this Jardin Conditioning and softening
oil from HairVeda works wonders. I just put a little bit on my hands, and rub my hair
through the palms of my hands. And it softens up my hair, My hair never had a dull look
while I wore this wash n go. It kept it shiny and moisturized. So I would get up every morning
and put a little bit of this oil on my hair, or I would put it on at night before pinappling
it for bed. To my surprise this twist n go style lasted me a week and a half. So If you
like long lasting wash n gos, give this video a thumbs up. I hope you guys enjoyed the video
and check out the pictures of the hairstyle and Ill see ya next time, Bye!
