In certain situations, such as loading incorrect firmware, the AN2006 may fail to enumerate.
If the AN2006 fails for any reason, we recommend sending it back to Ansync for service.
Though the following procedure should never be needed,
you can follow these steps to reflash the device's firmware.
To repair the AN2006, you will need a T10 screwdriver, and a flatblade screwdriver.
Start by opening the AN2006 and removing the circuit boards.
Set the connector board aside. We'll be working with the USB board.
Take a flat-blade screwdriver and short pins 1 and 2 on the IC marked U20.
While shorting U20, plug the board in.
If done properly, the device will appear in the device manager.
Once the device appears, run the AN2006 repair installer.
The installer will add the necessary drivers and reflash the firmware automatically.
Once the repair program finishes, you can re- assemble the AN2006 and use it as normal.
If you are unable to recover the AN2006, send an email to support@ansync.com.
