miniFIDES was
designed is a
self-contained stand-alone system
with the idea that it
could be
set up to detect very small fires
very quickly.
And to surprise them while they're still very small. The reason that this
miniFIDES can perform very quickly and suppress the fire very quickly is because
there is a patented valve and that valve has a very high velocity of a very high
flow rate.
And it is that that suppresses the fire there's no other valve on the market
that allows a flow rate and the volume
that we produce
in order to suppressive the fire quickly.
The miniFIDES was also designed to prevent fire damage
and also the amount of the damage that is done.
And in this case with a low pressure system we do not
damage peripheral items and so clean up from that
fire is rather minimal.
You've seen how quickly miniFIDES senses a fire.
To show you how effectively it can handle larger fires,
in this field test video, we deliberately disabled the optical and thermal sensors
and are using manual discharge in order to let the fire grow.
Again, this is real time.
This next test shows how the miniFIDES can detect fight and suppress up wind
kerosene and gasoline fires
the optical sensors has been disabled and a backup thermal sensor is being
used to detect the fire.
Even in really high wind conditions and using the optical sensors only
miniFIDES can successfully sense and put out the fire with
record speed
as this footage shows.
The purpose of this last test is to show how the miniFIDES handles a larger very
hot fire from a greater heights distance
to enable the fire to grow to an area of
4 feet by 8 feet
we once again used the manual discharge feature.
Even from this distance and with a larger fire area
the miniFIDES has no problem quickly suppressing the fire.
We also have the 600 system
and that is a
reconfiguration
of the miniFIDES 336.
The 600 system
is a 2 tank, 3 tank, up to 6 tank system. The miniFIDES 600 system
uses all the same circuitry, the monitoring, and everything that we have
available in the miniFIDES 336.
It is further enhanced
with 6 remote
sensors.
Whereas, the miniFIDES 336
detects the fire and discharges the entire tank,
it's a one
fire system.
This 600 system is fully capable
of trying to put the fire out with 1 tank, 2 tanks, 3 tanks.
But further more, if it discharges the first tank and puts out the fire,
the other two tanks, 2 and 3, are still there
and should another fire start, the next tank will fire to get that one.
So you have a tramendous amount of coverage
in the same area, either for fire reignition
or for new fire startup.
Any one of the sensors that sees a fire will tell the
tank or the next tank or the next tank
to dispatch
its surfactant. In addition to being self-monitoring
the miniFIDES systems are designed for minimal human intervention and require
nominal maintenance. Installation is simple,
even in compact and low overhead areas.
A warning light indicates if a surfactant tank is losing pressure.
Surfactant tanks and sensor heads are easily replaced and require no
specialized service crews.
Changing the surfactants is almost as easy as replacing a light bulb.
There is no down time,
no loss in productivity,
and with three surfactant thanks no hurry.
