Ok I found a new website that I thought you guys might like called ABC Mouse, but it's
a little bit tricky to get into, so what you are going to have to do is on your computer,
remember your computer looks a little different than my computer, on your computer look for
the icon with the mouse. It says ABC Mouse. You'll click 2 times on that to open it up,
and when the website loads in you'll see a lot of different things. The tricky part of
this is finding your name so that you can play the games as you. Right up here you'll
see your avatar. An avatar is just a picture that means you. It could be a picture that
looks like you. it could be a picture of an animal. You'll have to find the one that means
you, and it will have your name. This one doesn't have your name I'm sure, it's just
the one that loads in when you first start. In order to find you, you have to come down
to the bottom. This says change user/log out. If you click on that, it will pull up everyone
in our classroom's avatars. My avatar's right here. It's a horse. All the avatars for everyone
in our classroom are right here, but you can't see all of them unless you click this down
arrow. So if you click the down arrow, you'll get to see everyone in the classroom. If you
want to play yours, don't play anyone else's, play yours only, let's say James. Let's pretend
we're James. We'll click on James. And then James's avatar will pop up right here. If
anything like this pops up, let's just click this X. Then James can play any of these games
here that he wants to [Welcome back James]or he can visit the classroom [Go to the classroom].
He can go to the learning path [Go to the step by step learning path.] He can do all
kinds of fun things. He can do anything down here either. [Go to the map.] If he wants
to click on the map, he can click on the map. There's lots of fun things to do. You get
tickets for playing the games, and it should be a lot of fun. So go ahead and find your
avatar and play ABC Mouse.
