In veg news, a popular American publication features a story on plant-based eating out.
CultureMap from Houston, Texas, an online daily magazine, presented an article in which
vegan businessman Mr. Joel Luks shared tips about dining in non-vegetarian restaurants
while in the company of associates or friends. Among Mr. Luks’ suggestions are to check
the restaurant menu online before visiting the establishment, to see what cruelty-free
dishes may be offered. Another idea given by Mr. Luks is to contact the eatery in advance,
as many chefs are happy to create delectable vegan dishes when requested. Furthermore,
Mr. Luks commented that if more people request plant-based items, they may in the future
