[B. Harman] Well, honors students have a million opportunities here at IUPUI. We’re a booming
up-and-coming campus right now, and I think that just is shown in our student involvement
here on campus. We have over 300 student organizations housed
in the University, and I think a great way of first figuring out what you’d like to
get involved in is by going and checking out The Cube in the Campus Center. We have about
80 organizations hosted there with information on their club or organization. We have everything
from service clubs to Greek life to political action clubs or professional development societies;
anything like that you can find here at IUPUI. What is good for honors students here at IUPUI
is they have resources that most other students don’t, and I think a lot of those resources
come from the older honors scholars, and usually freshmen, when they live in honors house,
you can talk to older honors students that may be able to direct you on campus to what
organizations would be good for you to have a successful four years, or what would be
your sort of niche here at IUPUI.
