Borussia Dortmund need a mini miracle if they're to secure a third successive Bundesliga crown.
They trail leaders Bayern Munich by a daunting twelve points, and cannot afford any more
slip ups.
They next face mid-table Hamburg, a team that have already taken three points from the Champions
this season, but manager Jurgen Klopp says his side won't roll over this time.
"I think when we met them at the beginning of this season, it was quite turbulent here
and we were so kind and assisted Hamburg a bit, so that the game could turn-around (Dortmund
lost 3-2 at Hamburg). And yes, this finally resulted into this kind of season for us so
far. But as I have said before, now they are coming here to us. And it does not matter
how and with which players on the pitch, we will try to beat them. This is the plan."
Another potential pitfall for Klopp is the constant speculation surrounding his star
striker Robert Lewandowski - the latest talk links the Pole with a move to rivals Bayern
Munich.
"It is the normal procedure in football business to speculate about who will play when and
where. But it was always only important where he is currently playing - this with regard
to any player, it is not different in the case of Robert (Lewandowski) and he is playing
here, this is good and he's fit. Yesterday, he played with his national team - obviously
not that successful (Poland lost 2-0 away against Republic of Ireland) - so, I guess
he wants to win again now. So, everything's fine."
Dortmund are still going strong in Europe - they travel to face Shakhtar Donetsk in
the Champions League next Wednesday (13th February).
