Hey guys! It's Megan, from Megan & Liz. And it's the New Year, and this year I decided
to make three resolutions. The first one is to experiment with color.
Second one is to be more healthy, and the third is to take more risks.
So I decided that I wanted to show you guys how to incorporate it into my makeup look.
So I'm going to show you guys how to do it with a little "Makeup Therapy".
Let's get started. This resolution is about having fun and getting
splashy with color. You know, letting loose!
I literally wear so much black that I think introducing bright bold color will unleash
the inner wild side in me. For the makeup, instead of going for the more
obvious full lid of color, I went for a more color detail on the lining with the Pacific
Blue Kajal liner. Okay, enough with the subtlety.
Now it's time to get really colorful with the lips.
I'm adding a layer of Cosmic Raspberry. The name says it all.
As you can see, it looks pretty cosmic. Now that I have all this color on my face,
I'm ready to go out and take on the world. Let's be real. I've never been one for traditional
sports. I think I scored maybe two baskets when I
played basketball. But I do love getting fit and getting athletic.
So to truly feel good, I try to get healthy from the inside, and that starts with my skincare
routine. I start with a light under eye cream and I
just dab it under the eyes. Then I opt for the lightest foundation possible,
so I go for a BB Cream. And you know, sometimes I like to put it on
like war paint. It has moisturizer and SPF built in.
Then just dust on some light bronzer, which I am a big fan of.
And next, I use some glow onto the skin with some shimmer. I like to use this Bobbi Brown
Shimmer Brick. I add some barely there cream shadow.
Super easy to glide on, which is you know, awesome.
And then the final touch is to use an easy product like this two-in-one lip and cheek
balm to add some natural color back into the face.
This makes you come alive, but it still feels natural and healthy.
And that's allI have to do for a fresh face, healthy glow.
Now let's go be healthy. Alright, now it's time to channel my outer
and inner rock star. Going bold with my look and getting tough
from the inside out. So the makeup look that really inspires this
outspoken attitude is a strong eye. So I normally stick to a natural, more blended
eye shadow look. But I think the extreme winged line is the
perfect detail to add some edge. Next, add a little pop of pink to the cheeks.
And last but not least, I finish off with a little bit of this soft nude gloss to make
the eyes really stand out and to keep the look really modern and edgy.
I pretty much feel like I can do anything now.
Hope you guys enjoyed this little dose of "Makeup Therapy".
See you guys next time! What are you guys still doing here?
Alright, while you're here, you might as well look at these four videos.
I love everything about the holidays. From the sparkly ornaments to the warm, fuzzy
moments sipping on wine with my family, which I reflected here with this look.
We're going to fill in with a red lip pencil. Great, so you can just use any pencil you
have in the house? Not exactly.
You want to get a lip pencil that's made for- Crayola.
Next, I'm going to finish off the look with this red sparkly lip gloss. The color is Black
Ruby.
