I decided to have laser eye surgery because I’d been using contact lenses for about
15 years now and just literally got to the point that I was absolutely fed up with them.
I sort of put it off for a little while, so like a lot of people, bit sort of edgy about,
you know, whether it was a good idea or not and know lots of people who have had it done
and they all swear by it and so I thought finally I’d take the plunge. I'm very glad
I did.
I chose Optical Express because they’re one of the biggest. They do an awful lot of
the procedures and therefore, you know, the chances are they’re going to be doing, you
know, they do them so regularly there’s, they’re going to be better at doing them,
the success rate will be better and the complications reduced, the chance of complications anyway,
so that’s good.
Probably not necessarily consider doing anything new, but it’s made everything else and awful
lot easier. I mean, I do a lot of sports. I do a lot of rowing and things and those
sort of things with lenses or glasses are actually quite a pain and certainly with glasses
it’s certainly very problematic and yeah, the laser eye surgery just makes everything
so much easier and yeah, absolutely.
Oh yeah, the results I’ve achieved have been absolutely excellent. I'm very, very
pleased with them. I've achieved vision vastly better than I thought I ever would. It’s
much better than I'd ever have had with glasses or contact lenses in fact. So yeah, absolutely
blown away and it’s amazing how quickly you forget about wearing contact lenses every
day and just not having to put them in and suddenly, before you even realise it you’ve
just completely adjusted. It’s just so easy afterwards. It’s fantastic.
