The general rule is that you have two years from the date of the accident to bring a personal
injury claim or file a personal injury lawsuit. If you go beyond that time period you're barred
from bringing a claim, so its very important that you observe that statute of limitations.
However, as with a lot of things in the law, there's innumerable exceptions. Some deadlines
are as soon as ninety days after the date of the accident. So if you're involved in
