Three years ago,
we were at home, here in Asunción,
with a terrible cold weather,
imagining how cold it would be out there
at that exact moment
in front of the National Congress in Buenos Aires.
When the Law finally passed,
we started to cry.
We could not imagine
that barely one year and a half later,
we will be marrying in Rosario.
On that Friday, when we got married,
we knew that it was not only
a new beginning for both of us,
but also,
the doors that would lead us to equality
for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people
throughout the continent were opening behind us.
Rosario is now a part of our lives,
as the Argentinean LGBT Federation.
Thanks to the commitment and support of our pals,
our movement is advancing
and getting stronger in many countries,
and we are sure that very soon,
even more cities and countries
will ensure the same dignity and happiness
to all of our LGBT brothers and sisters.
Equality is for export now.
