I’m very excited to show you
for the first time the FB7600.
In a nutshell, with the FB7600 you can think of it as a screen-line but a digital one.
So, we can do anything that screen can do but better, in better quality and with the same versatility.
So, what does that mean?
First of all, it’s designed for high breakeven points for low cost per copy.
We have our own print heads, our own inks
and the productivity of the automation here is to lower the cost per copy.
The other thing that it’s designed to do is to have the screen versatility.
Screen is a very versatile technology so you can do very different jobs very quickly; turn them on a dime.
You have that versatility with the high quality that is associated with digital.
The third thing is it comes with the confidence to convert and move into digital
because it comes from the house of HP - with the investment of HP,
the service of HP, and the upgradability that HP provides
and with the extra solutions around the press of HP and its partners.
What you see here is the FB7600 which comes with a multi-loader, which is an option, an accessory,
a pay for option that allows customers to load more than one sheet at a time.
So, if you have a size that’s your standard size,
you can use it to basically increase the productivity threefold or fourfold.
You can use those sheets and use the maximum size of the bed to print on those sheets.
The other benefit of this multi-sheet loader is the ability to do alignment to the left or to the right.
What you get is the ability to do high accuracy registration
of retro-verso backlit applications or back sided applications.
What we also provide here with the new press is the new software
that allows things like hot folders with multiple up with edge to edge printing.
Again with the multi-sheet loader you basically are saving at the tail end on finishing.
The prints come out pre-finished. You don’t have to cut them.
It comes with additional software enhancements that allow for better productivity.
It also comes with print care and the new set of inks
that are more appropriate for better adhesion of plastics
like foam PVC, like polyprop and like styrene.
