Hey what's going on everybody?
It's Sam from ComputerTV.
And you are looking at these bright and shiny Samsungs.
These are the SMX-F34LN Flash camcorders.
So do you know what that means?
No tapes!
It records right to flash memory.
It has 16 GB internal, or you can get a SD or an SDHC card.
Get one of those monster ones with like, 32 gigs.
And you can have all the storage you need.
So let me tell you more about this Samsung camcorder.
You have a 34x optical zoom.
A 1200x digital zoom.
You have a Schneider lens.
You have a 2.7 inch LCD screen right here.
And look, it rotates.
Now you also have Photo mode on here.
You have a three hour battery life.
That is a killer battery life.
So when you're going out and taking a new adventure
make sure that this camera is charged up
and she won't die on you.
Now, like I said, 16 gigs of internal storage.
Also SD and SDHC compatible.
Also has Optimized YouTube mode,
Face Detection and Intelligent Noise Reducer.
And to be honest with you,
this design, rocks my world.
Look at this.
Right in the palm of my hand.
It's small enough to fit in my purse.
Just a little bigger than my back pocket.
But seriously, it's really lightweight.
And it's going to take really high quality video.
And some decent pictures as well.
Alright, so let's turn her on
and I'm going to show you exactly how she works.
Now the power button... let me turn it over,
is right back here. OK?
Now right here you have your Record mode.
And right here is your mode selection button.
OK? So you can go from video
to photo to playback.
And right here, that's how you do so.
With.. oh this is how you take photos.
Right here, this is your photo button.
And your wide and your tight for your zoom.
And if you open this door
right here you'll see you have your AV,
your USB port and your DC in port.
OK? Close that up.
And moving over to the side.
You'll see right here, this is for your exposure,
this is for your display and this is Easy Q.
And this is going to turn on your image stabilization.
So if you tend to take shaky...
have shaky hands when taking your videos,
this is going to stabilize the camera and make sure
that your images don't come out blurry.
OK, so. Moving right along.
I'm going to flip the 2.7 inch LCD screen over.
Like so. And let's go...
Oh! There's our camera man!
Wassup?
OK, so just hit menu right here.
It brings up all your options.
You have a ton of different scene modes.
Sports, Portrait, Beach.
I mean, you guys have probably seen most of these before
on digital cameras.
OK, moving along.
You can change your resolution to fine, super fine.
Super fine! Or normal.
OK, let's keep on going.
You have 16:9 aspect ratio.
So you can easily hook up to your HDTV
and watch all your movies that way.
White balance options, your exposure.
You can either do auto or manual.
Shutter.
Now this you can shoot 30 or 15 frames per second.
You have your back light, your focus.
Face detection! That's cool.
So you have that. Also, here you go.
Here's your anti shake.
Now you have some digital effects on here
that are pretty cool. Look at this one.
Art?
Alright I can't really see. Let's try another one.
Let me go up to digital. Or negative.
Here we go. Oooh! Look at that.
So you have a couple to choose from.
Black and white, sepia. Alright, so moving along.
You have your fader, in and out.
Don't even have to hook up to a PC to add a fade.
That's kind of cool.
Wind cut. If you're somewhere
where there's a lot of wind.
And you don't want it to disrupt your sound.
You have this option to help you out.
Now, again, you have optical zoom.
You have Intelli-zoom which is 42x.
And again, optical is 34x and your digital is 1200.
So you can really get in.
You can get in tight.
Great for concerts.
Time lapse options. You have your grid lines
to make sure that your composition is set up just right.
More storage. And look!
We are back at our scenes.
Let's get out of menu.
And let's say you want to switch into Photo mode.
OK, you just hit mode up here.
And now we're in photo mode.
And if you go into menu you'll see you have
pretty much the same options in photo mode
as you did in video mode.
So I'm not gonna go into the details.
Let's get out of menu.
And lets, last, but not least, show you playback mode.
Here we go.
Now we're in playback mode.
And we don't have any videos on here!
We need to go out and take some videos
of Bauer and Albert doing goofy things to each other.
But in the meantime, let me show you something.
If you just hit menu right here.
You'll see all your options pop up.
Your video or your photo playback mode.
And you have more options.
To even create a slide show.
Delete, protect, and oh! Copy.
So it's very easy to use this digital camera.
As you can see.
Very, very easy.
Alright, so let's get out of here.
I think I showed you guys everything there is
to see on this Samsung.
Also comes in a couple of different colors.
We have this silver one but we also have
this, look at this funky red, OK?
And, like I said, the design,
very nice. Very small.
Look at this.
Really fits in the palm of my hand.
I'm a fan.
So, I'm Sam.
Thanks so much for checking out these Samsungs.
