This video covers the Maintenance, Service, Calibration and Upgrade of the EC-Series Analyzer.
This topic is also covered in the EC-Series User Manual.
Please refer to the User Manual for more detail.
The EC-Series Analyzer has built-in diagnostics capabilities that run when the device boots,
as well as during various stages of testing and use.
If a diagnostics screen appears during use, please follow the instructions on the screen.
For example, if any of the internal boards has a fault,
a screen will appear notifying you that the Analyzer has a board-level fault and must be serviced or fixed.
Most all maintenance, service and calibration must be done at an authorized Global Energy Innovations’ distributor
or the Global Energy Innovations factory.
Please do not try to service or take apart your EC-Series Analyzer as this will void the warranty.
When the rubber boot is removed from the Analyzer you will notice two stickers.
Warranty and calibration will be void if these stickers are removed or broken.
It is recommended that you clean your EC-Series Analyzer on a regular basis to prevent corrosion
due to battery acid and other contaminants.
Use a damp cloth with mild soap and wipe all surfaces of your Analyzer.
You should also thoroughly clean any accessories that have come in contact with dirt of battery acid to prevent damage.
If you require an upgrade of your EC-Series Analyzer from and EC1000 to an EC2000,
contact your local master distributor and they will assist you with this upgrade.
