In this video you’ll learn how to set the configurations
for your client’s hearing instrument controls.
In the “Configuration” view, you can assign different functions
to the hearing instrument’s controls.
Under “Hearing Instrument” you can specify the desired functions
for the hearing instrument’s controls.
You’ll see the user control options for each side.
This depends on the type of hearing instrument
and the featured user controls you’re configuring.
If you enable e2e wireless 2.0 coupling, features
such as automatic microphone settings
will be aligned in both hearing instruments.
If you additionally activate volume control and / or program coupling,
any changes your client makes for one ear will automatically be applied
to the other ear by means of a binaural synchronization.
You can now assign functions to the selected user controls.
For example, for a “Rocker Switch” you can set volume change
on one side and “SoundBalance” on the other side.
You can define the range in which your client can personally adjust the volume.
The “Power-On Position” defines the starting point
after the hearing instrument has been turned on.
You can do the same for “SoundBalance”.
The options will change according to the selected user control.
For example, for ”Push Button” you can specify “Volume up”
for one side and “Volume down” for the other side.
