Legacy: anything handed down from the past, as from an ancestor or predecessor
a lifetime of prayer for 4 kids - and their spouses and 8 grandchildren Fern Nichols
I'm so grateful for my mom, she taught us
from the word, she taught us by her life.
This little gal was not expected and that's a Trisha joy
and I can truly say, that she has been an incredible delight
to raise and to love on and now to see her,
passing the legacy to my grandchildren
of faith,
teaching them the Word of God, teaching them how to pray.
Praying for them and with them. I tell you there is just no greater joy.
So I just wanted to tell you that.
I am so excited! Oh do I would you like to lick my finger,
oh you get to lick my finger. What I enjoy
passing along, truly is my faith in Jesus Christ,
because that is an eternal legacy.
Good job, you are keeping all of the mix inside the bowl.
So to teach them, that no matter where they are,
what they're doing, God is
always with them and he will always
hear their prayer to him. And prayer
is just talking to their heavenly father.
The gratefulness and the debt you feel, you just can't describe it.
I think the fact, as a mother now, working at things, like that to take
an hour
out of your day to spend specifically
to pray for you is a gift you can't repay.
You can't even ... you can't ... the gratitude is so big,
Because of all the pressures you have, growing up
and your peers are so influential on you. ... To develop that kind of
relationship throughout their whole life,
to come to the Lord not only for the things they need,
but how important it is for them to pray for others.
Then you realize how amazing it is, that God is moving on your behalf, because
your mom took time
to sit and concentrate on you. Just making Jesus a part of their,
you know, of their everyday life, because he's a part of yours.
But now you're just saying it out loud with them.
Oh we got it, we got it!
We came out exactly at the end like we should.
I have been most blessed to have prayed with hundreds
of moms for my children, and now my grandchildren. And I believe my children
and grandchildren are where they are today because the power of God through
