How do bodybuilders have such a small waist? You’d thin that guys who work out would
have thicker ones.
Part of it is weight loss and minimal body fat. They don’t have the extra layers that
make everyone else look more like a column than an hour glass figure.
A lot of people today are closer to a sphere than a statuesque column.
Body builders also look like they have a small waist because they’ve bulked up.
Why didn’t their stomachs and backs bulk up?
You don’t have as many muscles there that could get bigger. When someone works out their
abs, they get a tight six pack, not a bulging beer belly.
They tend to have big chests, shoulders and even thighs.
It’s the same reason body builders look like they have small feet and arms. The muscles
in the stomach, wrist and lower leg just don’t bulk.
But the waist looks smaller in comparison.
Yes. Though a lot of women who workout get a smaller waist, too.
As long as they don’t bulk up, the women who are on fitness magazines have narrow waists.
It’s closer to the 0.6 or 0.7 ratio that’s been the standard for human beauty for millennia.
The what ratio?
The ratio between the woman’s waist to her bust and hips is ideally 0.6 to 0.7. That
ratio has a strong correlation to fertility and thus beauty.
I’ve never heard a woman say she wants to lose the belly fat to become fertile.
No, she does it to be sexy, which is essentially the same thing.
Only in ancient times. I’m glad I live in modern ones.
Guys can cut and lose weight and have a narrower waist, but only those who cut and bulk get
a narrow waist by comparison.
If only women could use the same technique without looking like freaks.
