Hi, my name is Leta Koontz and I'm a Yoga teacher at Schoolhouse Yoga located in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, and I'm here today on behalf of Expert Village, to show you, to demonstrate,
and to teach you some inversions. So let's first come into downward facing dog pose,
coming onto all fours, curling your toes, lifting your hips up, and just dropping your
head between your arms. Go ahead and relax the muscles of your neck, and then an inverted
position is any position when your heart is higher than your head. And whenever your heart
is higher than your head, you get a lot of blood rushing into the upper extremities which
are now the lower extremities. And just when you sort of get comfortable, the pressure
raising a little bit in your head, so we're going to just stay here and take a couple
slow deep breaths. When you're ready to come out of the pose, just drop your knees to the
floor.
