To do this ab exercise, you need an ab wheel or an ab roller, and if you
don't have one, if you'll wait just a minute, I'll show you how to do this
same exercise at home without an ab wheel. But for those people with ab
wheels, find a wall and start off by standing about two feet away from the
wall. Stand up and roll into the wall slowly.
You want to touch the wall with your ab wheel and not slam into it. The
slower you go into the wall, the better ab workout you'll get. If this
exercise is too hard for you, stand closer to the wall and do it. If this
exercise is too easy and you don't feel it as much in your abs, stand
farther back away from the wall.
Here's one more tip that's going to really work your abs hard. Take the ab
wheel and stand back a little bit out of your range. Roll down as slow as
you can, without falling down on your face and without letting your knees
touch. Once you touch the wall, stand back up and do another one. These are
called negatives, when you only do the first part and you just roll down
slow and touch the wall. Then you just stand up without bringing the wheel
back.
Now, to do this same exercise at home, you'll need a slick or dusty floor.
You're going to need two towels or rags. Just do the exercise, like you see
here. The slicker the floor is, or the slicker the rags are, the better ab
workout you'll get at home.
