Welcome back to Conference Room Systems. I'm Paul Richards
and I'm here to show you Zoom.US using a
smartphone. The smartphone I have here is an iPhone 5, of course this works with
all generations of iPhones, iPads, it works with Android devices, Android
smartphones,
and I just want to show you how easy it is to launch a meeting,
join a meeting, share your screen, all with a smart device like an iPhone 5.
So what we have here
is the beginning of Zoom.US. I can either
start a meeting now, join a meeting that's already in progress,
I can schedule a meeting, and view my upcoming meetings.
But what I'd like to do is I'd actually like to join a meeting
that is already going on. So here's my meeting ID.
And i'm going to go ahead and join this meeting I already have in progress
with my iPhone, and right now I am using
3G, and you can see that
the 3G quality is absolutely fine. You can see as soon as I flip my smartphone it
flips the video. So from my smartphone, right here
now I have a whole nother array of choices. So
I can basically choose which camera I want to use,
so I might want to use my front camera there
instead of my back camera.
I can actually invite participants to join the Zoom.US meeting.
I can email it to them, I can send them a message,
I can IM the meeting, or just copy the URL and
send it to someone that you're talking to. I can also chat with the participants
and I can actually share my photos from Dropbox, I can share
a website, and actually go through it all
from my smartphone. So this is really powerful,
because what a lot of people have been looking for is a solution that works with everything.
and now with Zoom.US we have something affordable,
that's 1/5 the price WebEx and GoToMeeting, that allows
our customers, who are using our USB based video conferencing solutions,
to enable that hardware to connect with the world
affordably and effectively. So this is just a demo of
how to use your smartphone using Zoom.US, and I hope you guys enjoyed that,
and feel free to ask us any questions you have about Zoom.US.
