I: Here we are at VG stand with Vincenzo Antonuccio, who we also met before.
We would like to know the versatility of the company.
V: VG has always been an important company, for specific and international markets.
During this Furniture Exhibition we wanted to send a strong message,
a message of versatility, that means a company open to other markets,
so not only the typical luxurious VG style, but also a more minimal one,
showing VG suitability to any need by colours, style, presentation,
for huge luxury hotels as well as mansions in Russia, China, America or France
we try to show this versatility to our customers and make them understand we are open to every need.
I: To Marilena Calbini we'd like to ask the concept of the collection.
M: Definitely the concept is the research of freshness.
We everybody know what's happening all around the world. There's no will to investe not only economically, but above all on ideas, images, sensitivity. This is a restriction.
So this blue/green-lagoon colour and this white give us a freshness feeling,
and also the armchairs we are sitting on, part of the so called "Flame" collection,
it was born from the fire idea, as now we're talking about water as natural element,
but in this context, along white, it turns into waves, so the sea, the freshness,
because we think that in this moment of standstill we need to shock someway, people must react.
This has to start from the inside, from our sensitivity and imagination,
and this is all represented by objects, colours, texture, everything that makes a difference,
as it could be the ability to find original accessories like the Rusty,
it's a fanciful thing, to have champagne, glasses, chocolates at your fingertips in a single piece, it's a different way to present something.
So our concept is innovation, not only from the economic side but also regarding our ideas and imagination.
