Hello,
I'm Jose Lucas
I'm from Spain, and I'm 24 years old.
I am Industrial Engineer.
I finished my studies
on December of 2010.
In 2009,
I had the opportunity to complete my training
with an exchange in Germany
where I did a course on renewable energy
and hydrogen technology.
Photovoltaic, Solarthermal, Hydrogen Fuel Cell,
Bio-energy, Wind Power Plants… was included in the program.
As an engineer conscious with environment,
I consider this training as crucial to understand the energy challenges
that we face and the possible solutions that are being developed.
Moreover, during my stay in Germany,
I was a member of the racing team of the university,
where we developed a hydrogen fuel cell prototype,
with which we participate in the annual Shell Eco Marathon Race in Europe.
My task was to develop a speed control for the car,
to help save fuel, My task was to develop a speed control for the car,
to help save fuel,
and a data acquisition system to analyze the telemetry.
With this idea, I developed my Final Project,
called “Speed control and data acquisition system”,
getting the highest possible mark.
In 2009, I worked as intern in practice
at the University Miguel Hernandez, in Spain,
working in the implementation of teaching practices,
as well as the creation of electronic devices
and software applications necessary for such teaching practices.
Also, I have combined my studies with temporary jobs in different companies,
for example, as a sales man in a clothes company,
which has given me personal experience in dealing with the public.
These jobs allowed me to keep in touch
with the working world while continuing my studies.
I consider myself a responsible and organized,
but above all a very sociable person
who quickly adapts new environments,
with an teamwork spirit,
I feel capable of any project.
Because I enjoy engineering and technique,
because I love being an engineer.
Thank you very much for your attention.
