Hi! My name is Karl James, owner of Creolesoul Catering and I am here on behalf of Expert
Village. Now what we are going to do is chop our shallots. This shallot, we will have to
peel it first, we'll cut off the ends of the shallot and then I'll cut a quick line down
and peel the skin off of the shallot. Once we have the skin peeled off, we can chop our
shallot and we'll do this in thin slices. Got to watch our fingers; don't want to cut
a finger off while we are doing this. The shallot can be real slippery once the skin
comes off. We will continue to slice this and add this to our recipe.
