What shape are PermaLip implants? We are often asked if they are flat and whether
patients will be more prone to biting their lips following surgery. Well, they're not
flat. They're round, cylindrical, and tapered at either end. For more information about
what they look like, please have a look at our website, and you'll be able to see actual
images of the PermaLip implants and how they look. Essentially, they're round. They will
make your lips slightly bigger, so I suppose there is a risk of being more prone to biting
your lips as there would be with dermal fillers. I think this is probably a theoretical risk.
I haven't had any patients who were treated with PermaLip implants actually say that they
have had an issue with biting their lips, but I suppose it is theoretically possible
that this might be slightly more likely. Sensation doesn't change, as I discuss in other videos,
and also movement and other activities, such as kissing, drinking, all those activities
are pretty much unchanged by having slightly fuller lips with the PermaLip implant. Answers
to all of these questions are on the videos on our website, and you can access the website
simply by just clicking on the link below, which will take you straight through to the
PermaLip section. gdE- ADRIAN RICHARDS: What shape are permanent lip implants Robin Normal.dot
