In this video you will learn how to use Sprite Sheets and Movie Clips in Kwik 1.6, as this
new version brings a new workflow for animations.
In the past versions, when you created a Sprite or Movie Clip animation, you created also
a linear animation.
With the addition of path animations in Kwik 1.6, the new workflow works like this:
Pick a layer you want to replace by a Sprite or a Movie Clip.
In this example I will use a Movie Clip. The procedure is the same for Sprite Sheets.
Click the “Movie Clip replacement” icon and enter the requested information.
“Preview” you project.
As you can see, the movie clip animation occurs in the layer’s original X and Y points.
Let’s go back to Kwik.
With the “cube” layer still selected, click “Path Animation” (the same process
here applies for “Linear” animations).
Enter the data you want (for detailed info on each parameter, check the User Guide, available
at Kwiksher’s website).
For this example, I will accept the default parameters.
“Preview” you project again.
Now you see the “cube” moving along the path.
