BRANDON SARKIS: My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today, I'm going
to be showing you how to use Adobe's Lightroom software. The next thing I want to discuss
is the "Identity Plate." So we're going to click up here in our "Preferences" and go
to "Identity Plate" setup. And--give it a second. So we have the option of using the
Stock ID Plate, or a custom one. I use a custom one. What the ID plate is, is it's--the top--you
see the--on mine, how it's all in red with my name on one side and all of the modules
in front of the other. Well, what happens is I can go to the default one, and you'll
see that you get the Adobe Lightroom, and you get all the default colors, oh that gray
was kinda drabbing. I like red. So there you go. You can see here, it turns them all whichever
color you choose. I chose red. And if you look here at the bottom, you can see that
you can use whatever text you'd like. So you can change your font right here. You can change
the font type and you can change the size. And next to that, you can also change the
color, same thing on the "Module Picker" buttons, same options. And you can also use a graphical
ID plate. So you could actually drag a 57 pixel high image right there and it would
put the image in that spot, which is pretty nifty. I'd just use my name, though. And the
good thing with the ID plate is that, first of all, it brings a little bit of color to
the interface, which is a little drab. Let's see, that's the stock one and it's just kinda
blah looking. I just like the red better so I thought I'm gonna, maybe, enable mine and
we'll close this. But the good thing is it also allows you to, when you're using the
web module, you can go to your--not up in "Settings," it's "Image Info." Oops, hold
on. I hit the wrong buttons. Oh, I'm sorry. It's "Appearance." You can click on the "Identity
Plate" and it will actually lay this on top of that web, whichever images you have in
the web browser. It's almost like a watermark. It's also good for making sure no one steals
your photos so I'd recommend doing it.
