I'm Loyla Beth and I'm going to help you take pictures like a model. First of all you really
need to be comfortable in your own skin. You're going to want to know your good side, most
people have one, know your angles, know what looks fat on you, know what looks good on
you. Downplay your faults but definitely play up your assets. Practice in front of a mirror,
you might feel silly doing it but trust me, everybody does it. You're going to want to
know how to pose. Shift your weight from side to side, standing straight on with your weight
evenly distributed makes you look hefty in photos. You're going to want to have a nice
line in your photographs, it's very slimming, hides a lot of flaws. You're also going to
want to think like a model because if you can do that and actually believe that you're
truly something, the poses will just come natural. Never stop practicing, you might
even get a coach who can help you with posing. Never turn down a photo shoot, even if it's
not paying, it will add to your portfolio and give you that experience. Lastly, don't
stop, if you truly want to learn how to look like a model in your photos, take as many
pictures as you can.
