Hi, I'm Jessica from Three.
In this video we'll be looking at how to manage your filter settings
on a Three phone.
Three uses a filter service for web content
and content on Planet 3, our mobile site.
We provide this so you can control access
to age-restricted services on your handset.
If you have a Pay Monthly contract with us,
you'll automatically be able to view any content on your phone
because we verified that you were over 18 when you signed up for the contract.
But if you took the contract out for someone who's under 18,
they'll have access to age-restricted content unless you turn their filter settings on.
You can change your filter settings in your My3 account on your phone.
I'm going to show you how to do that now.
First, go to mobile.three.co.uk on your phone.
Select My3 account.
Select Account security.
Select Update adult filter settings.
You'll be asked to enter your PIN.
If you haven't set up a PIN yet, you'll need to do this
before you can turn the filter on and off.
From here, switch your filter settings to 'on'.
You can turn them off again at any time. Don't forget to press 'Save'.
Your filter will now be set up,
and access to age-restricted sites, services and content will be blocked.
And as long as the person using the phone doesn't know the PIN,
they won't be able to change these settings themselves.
