To duplicate something the short cut is Apple D. Now within Pro Tools, I can go in to my
section and do a lot of copying and duplicating things like that. If you copy things it's
pretty good because you can rearrange things and move things certain places. But the Apple
D is very good if you're working with groups because you can always press Apple D and duplicate
things pretty quickly. If you have certain sections that you like and you want to duplicate,
it's very good for mapping out a whole song. You understand? So you can grab multiple tracks
and with a click of a couple buttons, you're able to stretch things out through the entire
length of your song. Now once you have this all stretch out the way you want it, there
are others options you can also do. You can also, instead of pressing Apple D, you can
press the control R to repeat it the amount of times you want. So if I want to repeat
it maybe, 20 times, it's easy to do that in one quick thing. You understand? So also,
when doing this, you can also delete certain measures just by highlighting and deleting
them.
