NARRATOR: It's a bright sunny day,
and Sarah and Duck are out exercising in their garden.
-One front garden. -Quack!
SHALLOTS: Hello! Hello! Hello! Ahoy!
Quack!
(SHALLOTS GRUNTING)
-Two front gardens. -Quack!
(SHALLOTS GRUNTING)
-Ooh! He-he. -(QUACKING)
NARRATOR: What's got you two laughing?
-The hedge is tickling our knees. -NARRATOR: Oh.
-Perhaps we should investigate. -OK!
Ah, Duck, look! Ribbons. Oh!
(RIBBON SISTERS LAUGHING)
-Quack! -NARRATOR: Look out!
-I think someone's trying to get your attention. -(SARAH LAUGHING)
Quack!
Hello.
-(CLEARS THROAT) -No!
Shh.
Mmm-hmm.
NARRATOR: Nice to meet our neighbours, though they don't say much.
That's OK.
They've got ribbons.
NARRATOR: Oh, I see, they're talking to us with their ribbons.
SARAH: Uh-huh.
NARRATOR: Hmm. I wonder what they're saying.
Garden.
Quack!
-(RIBBON SISTERS LAUGHING) -NARRATOR: Perhaps they've lost
something over our hedge.
What have you lost?
Something round.
NARRATOR: Seems like they've lost something round near the shallot patch.
-Shall we have a look? -Yes.
-Quack! -Back in a minute.
-SHALLOTS: Oh, hello! Hello! Ahoy! -Hello.
Hmm. Shallots are round.
-NARRATOR: That's true. -Quack!
NARRATOR: Oh! And there appears to be one more than usual.
SHALLOTS: Ooh. Oh. Ooh.
-A ball! -NARRATOR: And a very nice one too.
Maybe that's what they've lost.
Mmm. Sorry, I think this belongs to our neighbours.
SHALLOTS: Aw! Bye! Bye! Bye! Bye, ball.
Found it! Oh.
NARRATOR: I wonder where they've gone.
-Quack! -Look! Back garden.
Quack!
(SARAH PANTING)
Here you are. Oh!
(GIGGLES)
RIBBON SISTER: Thank you.
-Whoa! -Quack!
(RIBBON SISTERS GIGGLING)
NARRATOR: I think our neighbours are happy.
(KISSING)
-Ha! Ribbon kisses. -NARRATOR: Indeed.
-Well, shall we get back to our exercises now? -Uh-huh!
Ready, Duck? And...
-Ooh! -(GIGGLING)
Hello.
-NARRATOR: Have you lost something else? -Uh-huh.
Another ball?
SARAH: Er...
It's a hula hoop!
-(CLAPPING) -(RIBBON SISTERS GIGGLING)
NARRATOR: Ah. Well done, Sarah. You're getting good at this.
Yes. Come on, Duck. Let's find it.
NARRATOR: Mmm, hula hoops are quite big, but I can't see one anywhere.
Hmm.
We can use the looking stump.
NARRATOR: Good thinking, Sarah.
Quack!
See anything, Duck?
Oh!
-(SARAH STRAINING) -NARRATOR: Hmm. How are we going to get it down?
-Come on, Duck. Up! -(QUACKING)
NARRATOR: Good work.
Well done, Duck.
RIBBON SISTER: Thank you! Thank you!
(RIBBON SISTERS GIGGLING)
Quack!
-Quack! -(SARAH LAUGHS)
(QUACKING)
Have you lost anything else?
They do lose an awful lot of things over our hedge.
What have you lost?
-NARRATOR: Something wiggly. -A snake?
Mmm-mmm.
-NARRATOR: Perhaps we should look where they're pointing. -Yes.
Wiggly wiggly wiggly.
Quack!
(SARAH SIGHS)
-NARRATOR: Don't give up, Sarah. -(SARAH GROANS)
NARRATOR: Maybe a little see-sawing would help you think.
OK!
Quack!
Quack!
Ah! Wiggly ribbon.
-NARRATOR: Ah, so that's what they've lost. -A-ha!
-(KEYS JANGLING) -Ha! Jangly.
-(RIBBON SISTERS LAUGHING) -NARRATOR: I think we've got our neighbours' attention.
(GIGGLES) Here you go.
Oh! Erm... Bye, then.
NARRATOR: A-hem! Well done, you two.
I suppose now we can get back to our exercising.
-Yes. Ready, Duck? -(BELL JINGLES)
Oh!
-Huh? -NARRATOR: I wonder what they're up to now!
(BELL JINGLES)
Oof!
NARRATOR: A-ha! I think it's a game!
-Quack! -(RIBBON SISTERS GIGGLING)
NARRATOR: Go on, give it a throw!
-(SARAH GRUNTS) -(BELL JINGLES)
(GIGGLING)
NARRATOR: Good catch, Duck!
Quack!
(BELL JINGLES)
-(BELL JINGLES) -Ooh!
Quack!
NARRATOR: Looks like you'll be getting some exercise after all.
