We're here in the TARDIS console room from the 1996 TV movie.
It normally has a solid roof, but it can be phased open to show stars and galaxies. I replaced the previous star dome with an improved one.
Here, I'll let 24 hours pass to show that there's no day/night on this 'sky', just a forced star dome day and night. No more forced Midnight clock function!
Now let's move on to the Observatory. I have to back-and-forth through the randomizing door to get to the right "floor" of the TARDIS.
The Observatory is very dark of course. And one day more things may be added to it.
I added a light switch and several bright lights. You can turn them back off yourself, or they will turn off automatically when you exit the room.
Like the Console room, here I've removed the code that forced the game clock to stick at midnight to show a black sky.
Instead I used the same half-sphere black sky and stars dome, with another galaxy. 24 hours a day, stars and space, no moon, no sun.
Now on to the Swimming Pool!
The Pool no longer forces the clock to noon. And the sky now actually shows sun and clouds.
The Pool has a sort of "resort planet" golden sun and blue-ish night, with clouds, sun, moon, and stars.
Let's speed up the passage of time to show the sunrise, noon, sunset, and night cycle.
There's a bit of radiation in the water - like a sunburn - but I made swimming raise your player's Strength if you swim (not float) for several minutes!
The moon has real phases, of course.
Let's put the speed of time back to normal.
And the beachball actually floats now. It's no longer a solid object, it's bouyant!
On to the Gardens. I think there's a dead Plant Mutant there. He'll turn to dust in a day or so.
Like the Pool, the Garden no longer forces the clock to noon. It has a real sky and a real timescale. From dusk to dawn, there is birdsong.
This is 'alien' sunlight, golden bright with light clouds. Some clouds are pinkish. I need to tone down the sun a bit, it glares in areas.
The exterior walls are now tile instead of metal. The greenhouse building is still metal. It glares in the sun, but I will fix this very soon.
Notice the new lanterns on poles around the Garden? They light at dusk and turn off at dawn. Same with the lamppost by the park bench.
Let's speed up time again to show the day/night cycle and the lanterns. Oh, and some phosphorescent fungus in the mushroom patch to the right!
Yep. Sun glare on the wall. I need to tone down the video effect on the garden to lessen glare.
One last thing to show you. Let's go back to the Console Room to be in normal light!
I've fixed some texturing errors on the "River Song" Sonic Screwdriver. The blue gem on it now is slightly transparent and glows a bit.
Thanks for watching!
