I have noticed a problem with my clothes dryer.
What is the problem confused one?
My dryer is only blowing cold air.
Let me express my shock and horror. Why do you think that is happening?
Well, I am not sure but it may have blown a fuse or something I will have to take a
look at the circuit breaker.
Yes, you should check it out and let me know what you find out.
Well,I already checked the dryer to make sure it was on the right setting.
You know that dyers usually blow cool air before they get into the warm part of the
cycle.
Yes, I am aware of this, it isn't rocket science, but the trouble is that it is only blowing
cold air.
You could check to make sure that there is not a problem with the heating element or
the receptacle?
Yeah there are actually two elements in the dryer one for the heating element and one
for the motor. You have to make sure they are both powered.Sam: I know there could be
a problem either with the outlet or the motor.
You could check them with a volt meter to make sure they are working.
Yeah, I was just going to say that. I will use my handy dandy ohm meter to check them.
Yes, and also check the outlet and the plug to make sure they are in good working condition.
It would be easier if I had a gas dryer I could just make sure the gas was turned on!
You would also have to make sure the pilot light was lit.
Oh Well guess I will have to live with a complicated dryer.
Yep, but we are smart enough to deal with it!
Of course we are. Edison didn't have anything on us.
