I’m actually a local Colorado Spring person.
I moved here when I was 3 years old. I went to school here in Colorado Springs graduated
at Cheyenne Mountain High School. Then I went to the University of Colorado in Boulder for
a year before transferring to the University of Kansas undergrad. Where I finished my undergrad
training there then went on to the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine which I completed
there in both Kansas City and Wichita. Then I went onto Surgery Residency in Chicago and
Critical Care Fellowship training in Memphis at Regional Medical Center. I am double boarded
in Critical Care and Elective General Surgery so one of my main focuses is my surgical critical
care which we do here at Memorial Hospital. Then we also have the elective general surgery
which I tend to focus on colon, ***, head and neck surgery. I think keeping all care
of patients centered is most important if you advocate for the patient no matter what
the circumstances are generally the outcome is always going to positive. There are times
things don’t always go the way you want them to but if you always take the upper road
and stay with the patient needs every step of the way things work out ok.
