Welcome to another episode of EGN, that's right, Eddie Griffin News. Straight, no chaser,
straight from the hip. That's how we get down. Now, in the news today, the Cheney daughters
are arguing in public, take a look...
Welcome back to the latest in the politics lead now, the family dispute, not uncommon
in this era with the Americans partly unanimous on whether same sex marriage should be legal,
56% are in support, 36%opposed according to our recent poll. And now that rift is on public
display, for one of the highest profile families in the nation, the Cheney's. Dad of course,
you may have heard of him, he was Vice President. Daughter Mary was for a time, one of the best
known openly gay republicans in the country, and now daughter Liz is running for Senate
in Wyoming. She made a public statement yesterday that she disagrees with her sisters rights
to marry her long time partner, Heather Poe, giving the families a bad light in the national
eye. I, Richard Cheney, solemnly swear. Sure Dad is one of the most controversial Vice
Presidents in American history, but today it's the Cheney daughters, Mary and Liz, who
are causing the stir. In one corner, Mary, who in the 1990's was
popular, who married her long time partner, Heather Poe in 2012 in Washington DC. They
have two children, in the other corner, we have Liz, the older sister. Former State department
official and her run for senate, who recently announced her position on same sex marriage.
I don't know why, since she's running for office and all the sudden her sister ain't
cool. Ya know, cause her sister is a lesbian. So they arguing over lesbians having the right
to marry, gays having the right to marry and ya sisters are married, so how ya gonna dis
your sister cause you're running for office, that's some cold blooded ***, ya understand
me. You knew your sister was licking *** long before you was running for office. You
was down with it, you know what, matter of fact, you was at that wedding. Now that's
what I call a dirty ***. this is EGN news, signing off.
