Morning everyone, I just wanted to show you something that kinda just shocked me this morning
our family has been eating oatmeal, and umm,
most everybody has been eating this instant stuff, and I had this instant stuff for breakfast yesterday
and so one of these little packets of these fruit
flavored oatmeal packets
is four points. Four points for this little thing.
Which is like nothing when you put it into your bowl. Hannah just had some for breakfast,
and, oh she still has some left
It doesn't even fill up one of these little itty bitty baby bowls
And so, my dad has some, like, regular, like big huge thing of
old-fashioned oats sitting on the counter.
One of these little packets
is
four points
for the whole thing.
uh... which is like nothing, and half a cup
of dry oats is 4 points
and then you add a cup of water and it like really expands. So let's look at this...
So you get
half a cup of this
So for 4 points you can either have, like
half of this baby bowl full for one serving.
Or for 4 points you can use old fashioned regular oats
ummm
a half a cup in here with one cup of water
and then i just diced up some
fresh strawberries to add to it
so I can have like my fruit flavored stuff.
Four points for half a bowl of this. Four points for a full bowl of this.
And I'm gonna guarantee you
this other one is gonna be way better
And if you want some added sugar, I don't know if I'm gonna add any sugar to it or not, umm,
put some stevia or truvia in there and sweeten it up naturally and,
there you go, you've got your
instant oatmeal much better, much more filling,
and much better choice.
