So, you finally lost the weight, congratulations. Now, maybe you're wondering, how do I tighten
up this loose skin now that I've achieved my goal of weight loss. Hi, I'm Jani Roberts,
a certified personal trainer, and a graduate of the American Academy of Nutrition. I've
got some great suggestions for you. First of all, take your time and be patient. I know
it's hard. We're creatures of habit, and as soon as we reach one goal we want to quick
run forward into the next one. This one's going to take a little bit of time. Start
with with some exfoliation. You might want to check out doing some body wraps; that type
of thing. Go and talk to an Aesthetician about it. See what they have to say. I'm sure they
could give you some great tips. The other thing that you can do is really look at what
you're doing nutritionally for your skin, you know, using different stimulating moisturizers,
definitely getting some quick fed massage. That type of thing is really going to feed
and exfoliate the skin. Remember, the skin is the largest organ of the body, and it's
your first major level of detoxification. So, give yourself a break, be a little patient,
because you are still going through some major detoxification after your weight loss. And
remember, you always have that last option of talking to a surgeon. That's kind of out
of my realm of expertise, but certainly there are wonderful physicians out there that could
help you, and give you some great assessments. Can you tighten up that skin after weight
loss? Absolutely, I know you will. I'm Jani Roberts. Thanks for joining.
