Hi there!
Today we are looking at Graph Builder. I can drag and drop variables onto the platform
so that I can view my data in a variety of graphing types and with many analysis layers.
In this demonstration, I'm going to show you how to add a contour element to groups of points so that it is
easier to view and compare the densities in your graphs.
I'm looking at some flight data in Graph Builder. I'd like to see if there is a correlation between the net cost and the booking day of the week.
After dragging the variables onto the graph, I can see that there are a few patterns emerging by the density and groupings of the points.
this is great,
but because the points are fairly close together it's hard to see exactly which grouping is the densest.
What I'll do is drag the contour element onto the graph.
The contour element creates a kind of density plot for a single variable. Thanks for watching!
