This is an example of an event website
Up top you can include the links to your social networks like: Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
You can include the name of your event
and here
on this bar you will notice the home, event registration, the vendor registration
volunteer, donate and contact us tabs
we'll get to that in a minute.
but first, on the home page, you will notice
this is where you can put the details about your event
the who, what, when, where and why. You can also included an event flyer information about
your host or guest speaker here.
The event flyer can also be downloaded for your visitors
to help spread the word
down here, is another way for visitors to navigate throughout your website.
The Event Registration tab allows your visitors to register for your event
via Eventbite
here
they can also save the event
and add the event to their calendar. They can share the event by Email, LinkedIn, Twitter or Facebook
They can also get in contact with the organizer here
and here
another great feature
about an event website
is the vendor registration online forms and the volunteer online forms
Here we've created
vendor and volunteer registration forms
So, if your event requires vendors
your vendors will go here
we'll show you why this is important a little later (Part II)
and here's an example of a volunteer registration form
By clicking on the donate tab
depending on the donations needs of your event
we have provided a space where visitors can include what they are donating and the
quantity here
if your event requires monetary donations
you can integrate
a paypal account to your site here
and the last page is another means of communication for your visitors to get in touch with you
it provides a space for your phone number
to reach you or they can leave a message that can be sent directly
to your event-specific
email for example
YourEventName@EventDomain.com, which is highly encouraged. :o)
