Hi, how are you? Well, you see me, I'm really well!
I'm better... Actually, a bit worse than yesterday, 'cause I'm feeling all the blows now,
and also 'cause it's a while I don't get morphine, but I'm fine...
What happened? First of all, where were you? I was going down the valley, next to the fences...
As soon as we arrived at the fence, the police started using tear gas, aiming at the body,
I have also seen a very young kid, a student from Padua, kneeling down after being hit by a teargas bullet...
And there happened what I reckon a just reaction to an disproportionate attack...
'Cause we wanted to make a symbolic action, taking back the Maddalena...
After that, there has been an extremely violent charge from the police, who literally massacred me
with batons, first on my arms, as I was trying to cover my head...
But after they broke both my arms, I wasn't able anymore to protect myself
and they hit me repeatedly, almost 15 times... They were at least ten all over me,
until I was able to shout "stop it", since they weren't stopping,
and one of them arrived, and understanding the seriousness of the situation, had me moved
somewhere else from two policemen. During the trip from te place where they got me
to the place where they were storing Cs gas, and where they had got some barrows
during the trip I've met men from the army wearing hoods who spat on me,
kicked me, together with policemen, carabinieri and financial police
until I got to the barrows... So I travelled 150 meters in the conditions you may have seen me on the pictures
and again, I was being beaten up, kicked in the face...
Though you were in a barrow? No, I got in the barrow later...
During the trip from when they got me and the barrow, there were these lines of mixed police forces
carabinieri, police and financial police that kicked me in the testicles, hit me in the face
they repeteadly spat in my face , until I get laid on this barrow...
At that moment a doctor arrived, and understanding the situation,
was keeping away the other policemen, he was trying to keep them away...
Then, when the doctor turns his back, I get hit by a 1inch steel pipe, those you use as gas or water pipes
right on my nose... I was already there on the barrow, bleeding...
They kept saying they were going to kill me, that they had no intentions of bringing me to the hospital...
So, they broke your nose with this pipe?
Yes... Then they kept kicking me, also from beyond the barrell... As soon as a new one arrived,
intoxicated by their own tear gas, since the wind was sending the gas back, they were sick
would arrive and spit on me... Until the most umiliating thing, a glass of urine which they poured on my chest...
At that moment, two agents from DIGOS arrived, saying "that's enough, don't touch him anymore, 'cause there are Tv cameras"...
And I remember there was a chief commander, which I'd be able to recognize easily
that was telling me I was ***, that I didn't deserve to lay on that barrow instead of his collegues...
So, he ordered four policemen to take me from that barrow, and they moved me under the sun
I was for three hours under the sun in that conditions keeping telling me I had to die, that I didn't deserve to live,
that I had enjoyed throwing stones until now, and now I had to pay for that,
and that they were not going to bring me to the hospital, that they were going to bring me directly to the
police station, where I'd have got the rest of it...
Four ambulances arrived, I could hear them and asked to be brought to the hospital, and they answered "No, they went away"
until I saw a guy that arrived, I remember his name, Davide, to whom I say hi and thanks, that saw me
though I was hidden behind a line of policemen, since on the other side there were Tv Cameras,
and said "He's really in bad conditions". He medicated me, and told me "I'm going to bring you away".
Was he someone from the army? No, I think he was someone from the Red Cross...
They put me on the ambulance... Ah, while I was there I was seeing other people being beaten up,
and brought to this place where they had teargas, and I've recognised a guy, that I have discovered later he is from Padua
he was being arrested and he was really in bad conditions, maybe not as me, but sufficiently beaten up...
In this moment he should be in jail, and I'm quite worried about this...
We are really worried about this guy, whose name is Gianluca Ferrari... We are really worried...
I have seen the conditions of Fabiano in this moment, how was it possible that the lawyers didn't see him, he's in jail
and naturally in this moment there's no trust in the police after what happened. We push so that he can get contacted by his lawyers...
What is his name again? Gianluca Ferrari
While your name is? Fabiano Di Berardino. (*he repeats his name*)
I'm a militant member of the social center TPO in Bologna since 8 years, and we organized to adhere to the call from the NoTav group...
There's someone saying that some of this people arrived there very organized, while you were there for a symbolic action, as you said before, right?
The action was that of getting close to the fence, and take back the "Free Republic of Maddalena"... We were not allowed at all to get to the fences...
they have started using tear gas from the beginning, aiming at the body...
I know that the guy before has internal bleeding from a broken rib... Not Gianluca, the other guy.
Where were you exactly? I can't tell you precisely, since I'm not from this area... I know we were descending a wood path, but I can't tell you the exact position...
I can tell you that from the fence to the zone where there was police it was only 150 meters
