Hi! I’m Ross. Thanks for coming to expertvillage.com, let’s begin. How do you set the date and
time on your computer? If you bring your mouse down to the system tray where the time is,
a little tool tip comes up saying the date. You can double click the time to open it or
you can right click for the contact sensitive menu and go up to adjust date and time. From
here, you can set the calender and the time. You also have a tab that says time zone. You
can set that to your time zone. So for instance, if you had a laptop and you want to set to
the current time, instead of changing the date and time, let’s say that you’re in
St. Louis and you decide to go to Seattle. Well, you can change the time zone from central,
and you can change it to mountain, and the time would adjust appropriately. You can also
set Internet time, where it’ll keep the clock updated automatically to a resource
on the Internet.
