Hello, I'm Colin and here are today's headlines from Pinksixty.
This weekend saw Pride celebrated across the US,
including in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
One of New York's Grand Marshalls, Cyndi Lauper said "We have a lot to celebrate."
Berlin's Christopher Street Day Parade was more political, with activists highlighting
Russia's anti-gay laws.
A checkpoint was reconstructed marking the 'Russian-zone' where a ban on public displays
of gayness was flouted with ticker tape and kissing!
The weekend also marked the centenary of Alan Turing's birth.
His apparent suicide is now in doubt as a re-evaluation of the evidence supports accidental
inhalation of cyanide as a possible cause of death.
Malaysian, trans singer, Hafiz Jeffri has been punished for dressing in women's clothing
by the Islamic High Court.
After repenting, the singer's sentence was reduced from a prison term to a fine.
And finally, British powerlifter, Chris Morgan won his fifth world championship title over
the weekend in France.
Morgan now holds British Open, European Open, World Open and Gay Games titles.
That's all from us today. Join us again tomorrow.
