Hey lets talk TVs shall we? How about TVs/monitors shall we? 'Cause this actually does both.
When you hook it up to your computer you can use it as 1440 by 900 monitor,
and when you hook it up to your cable or an antenna signal you can watch television
on it in 480i, 480p, 720p or 1080i on this 19 inch screen.
It's got a built in electronic program guide, it's got a remote control that's going to allow you
to quickly switch between PC inputs and antenna inputs.
It also has an integrated HDMI port, and tons of conductivity. So if you're in a...
If you're in a room, where you'd like to have a TV and a computer, maybe don't have a TV tuner
in the PC, and you want to have a whole bunch of different kinds of inputs,
on your screen, this is perfect. It's the Polaroid 19 inch, widescreen. It is 16.9 aspect ratio,
it has a 700 to 1 contrast ratio, and also like I said has a 1440 by 900 max resolution
at 8 millisecond response time, so it's got to have fast response time on it,
very nice resolution as a monitor, and will handle any of the digital TV formats
you can throw at it, short of 1080p. So... Which you're not really going to want on
such a small screen anyway. I would love to show you, the actual TV signal, on this thing,
and how good it looks. Because it does make digital television look extremely good,
the problem is, we're in the battles of the TV studios here, and not even with a high gain
HD antenna can we pull down any useable signals, but you'll be able to.
In your house, you just hook it up to, like I said your cable, or any antenna and you'll be able
to get full high def, digital television, on the screen. And of course, sometime in the near future
they are going to be turning off all analogue broadcasts, and this will be able to natively
tune into the digital, over the air broadcast. So, let me go ahead and show you around it
just a little bit. This is a remote control that comes with it, gives you quick access
to the built in electronic program guide, to your Favourites, to your inputs, so you can
quickly switch to antenna or down here switch between the PC and the HDMI inputs,
if you simply push the Input button on the remote right here, you'll see
that we have our TV/AV S-video component HDMI and PC inputs on this thing,
so it's got a whole lot of different plugs on the back... I'll go ahead and show you those
right now, shall we? So let me go ahead and shut this monitor down here,
and show you what is going on, on the rear. 'Cause there are a lot of inputs on this thing.
Take a look here. Can we.. Are we able to see this producer deck, can we see it up in here?
There we go. You can see over there on the left hand side you've got your power port,
just to the right of that you've got your stereo audio inputs as well as a component input
right there, you got an input for your cable TV, or your antenna.
You've got S-video, you've got your stereo inputs and your analogue standard RCA input right there,
as well as a VGA input and an audio input for everything coming from your PC,
and an HDMI port onboard this particular monitor. So,
you can literally plug in just about anything you'd imagine, into this thing.
Short of say digital audio, which it's not going to do. But everything else,
it's going to do just fine, great resolution, it's going to show 480i, 480p, 720p and 1080i
and 1440 by 900 when you have it hooked up to a PC. So all in all,
a really really great multi purpose monitor, for any situation you could imagine putting it in,
and a nice size, 19 inches. So, go check it out, it's the Polaroid 19 inch TLA-01901C monitor.
Go have at it.
