Is it good to fart while working out?
Good? Why on Earth would you think it was good?
Better out than in, to quote Shrek.
Everybody farts. I think the average is fourteen times a day.
OMG, someone actually counted. It doesn’t sound like it, though.
Most farts are small and silent, not rips. Or whatever you call loud ones.
I’ve heard that farting while you are working out means you are really working out.
Exercise stimulates the bowels. That’s why lazy people are more likely to be constipated.
How do I stop it?
You can’t stop it. You could wear underwear that reduces the smell of your farts.
That ought to be up on the shut up and take my money sub-Reddit.
You could take the easy way out and blame someone else. Or ignore it.
That would be cheaper. What happens if you hold in the fart?

No, but the gases might be reabsorbed by the body.

Now we’re back to letting it all out.
You can lessen the problem by scheduling workouts two or more hours after a meal. Gas build
up is more likely if you are working out hard within an hour of eating a meal.
The muscles take up energy that could have gone to the stomach, resulting in more gas
creation. Do you know of any other solutions?
And don’t eat Mexican food or other bean based dishes before you workout with your
friends.
I was never big on that in the first place.
Go to the bathroom before you workout. When you try to evacuate, you’re more likely
to fart in privacy.
It’s better than everyone around me evacuating because of the smell.
